Learning Disabilities & ADHD

UCCF offers evaluations, consultation and therapy for children and teens coping with learning disabilities and ADHD. Additionally, we offer support and edication to parents of children with attention and learning problems.

Psycho-Educational and Student Learning Evaluations

UCCF offers comprehensive evaluations that can provide a better understanding of a child's pattern of cognitive and academic strengths and weaknesses. Our evaluations are also designed to detect underlying attention, learning, or emotional/behavioral concerns that could be interferring with a child's success at home or school.

Parent Education Group

The Parent Education Group is designed to provide parents with practical information about Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder and Learning Disabilities, and to help with the challenges that families face. Additionally, the group offers participants an opportunity to share ideas, resources, and support with other parents dealing with similar sets of issues.

The group is appropriate for parents of children in elementary through high school who have been diagnosed with ADHD and/or a learning disability. Group leaders deliver brief lectures, provide new tools, and facilitate parental discussion and mutual problem solving.

For more information regarding this group, please check out our flyer.
