Clinical research is an integral component of the UCCF mission. Research projects are designed to improve the effectiveness of clinical assessments and interventions, and to contribute to knowledge about child and family mental health issues while staying on top of cutting edge advancements in the mental health field.
Many of our teaching faculty have joint appointments at the University, with research programs focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorders, depression and suicide prevention, and community and school-based interventions.
UCCF also partners with other researchers across the University to help in studying cutting edge clinical issues, such as children's bereavement, PTSD, the development of emotional and behavioral regulation, and childhood anxiety.
