Strong Moms Strong Girls (SMSG) is a program developed by UCCF and the Junior League of Ann Arbor. SMSG's focus is to help girls learn how to challenge relational aggression and also to support their mothers in this endeavor.

The current spring and fall workshops are at capacity. SMSG is pleased to announce the addition of a June workshop to the schedule to accommodate the popularity of the program.

These workshops provide girls with the tools to navigate conflict constructively so they can form strong, healthy relationships. Mothers are equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to help their daughters with this social challenge.

Workshop participants will explore:

  • Cliques
  • Cyber-bullying
  • Media influences
  • Bullying
  • Name calling
  • Assertive communication skills
